Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 2026
1. Our Commitment
Learnvelo is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
2. Conformance Status
Learnvelo is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
The one known limitation is in the instructor content authoring interface: MathLive (math input) has an upstream defect where an internal element lacks an accessible name. The outer math input element is properly labeled. This affects instructor authoring only, not student-facing content.
3. Standards Applied
- WCAG 2.2 Level AA
- Section 508 (2017 Refresh)
- EN 301 549 V3.2.1
4. Evaluation Methods
- Manual testing with VoiceOver + Chrome (macOS)
- Manual testing with NVDA + Chrome (Windows)
- Keyboard-only navigation testing
- Automated testing with axe-core across all application routes
- Static analysis with eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y
5. Assistive Technologies Supported
- NVDA (latest) with Chrome on Windows
- VoiceOver with Chrome on macOS
- VoiceOver with Safari on iOS
- Keyboard-only navigation
6. Accessibility Conformance Report
